“The Wind Rises”, film animasi terakhir yang dibuat oleh sutradara terkenal Hayao Miyazaki sebelum pensiun September lalu, menjadi salah satu, dari 58, nominasi untuk shortlist 71st Golden Globe’s Best Foreign Language Film. Film ini akan berkompetisi dengan “Soshite Chichi ni Naru/Like Father, Like Son” karya Hirokazu Kore-eda.

Nominasi finalnya akan diumumkan pada 12 Desember mendatang oleh Hollywood Foreign Press Association, dan acaranya sendiri akan diadakan pada 12 Januari 2014.
